forsake these mortals
the earth will have its revenge
for what they have done
to the seeds of eternity
the graveland frozen beneath
gives way to my will
a passage opens before me
the air was black and coldly sweet
the brambles lined my way
the moon hailed my sight
the soil was cold
when we became one
it was there on the ground
when i felt its pulse flowing
my eyes opened to the cold
and i was frozen as well
three ravens approached me
by night they implored me
to return to whence it all came
they implored me to
forsake all modernity
and to return to the earth
i would heed their command
and i will return
from their piercing gaze
into the end

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
